TCSA Education - Related Resources for County Officials

The following information was distributed from TCSA leadership about The Tennessee Investment in Student Achievement (TISA) Act, which was enacted into state law in 2022. This fundamental change in the state's education funding formula changed quite a bit from its original ideation, but TCSA worked hand-in-hand with state leadership and its county officials membership to determine the best outcome it could for county officials and local school boards.

The TCSA Education Committee met on November 16, 2023, to discuss the Tennessee General Assembly's special investigative committee regarding federal funding received from the U.S. Department of Education.
