Tennessee General Assembly

The advocacy efforts of the Tennessee County Services Association and its affiliate organizations involves a direct relationship with members of the Tennessee General Assembly, the Administration and state departments. One of the most effective means a county official has in impacting the fate of a legislative proposal is anecdotal information about how the proposal might affect constituencies back home. This means each county official must have a personal relationship with their state senators and representatives and stay in contact with them regularly.
