2024 Legislative Conference Recap

TCSA had a wonderful time at the conference in Gatlinburg last week, and we hope all of our members did, too. With many exciting adventures, including various encounters with bears and multiple informative sessions on great topics, we hope you gained knowledge to take home to your counties to implement. CTAS: Leading Local Government Teams

Leading Local Government Teams will equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead effectively in the dynamic and challenging environment of local government. This training will prepare individuals to navigate the complexities of public service, build high-performing teams, and contribute to the overall success.

Unemployment Rates Drop in Every County Across Tennessee

NASHVILLE – Each of Tennessee’s 95 counties recorded lower unemployment rates in April, and each came in at or below 4.1%, according to newly released data from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).

A complete analysis of the unemployment data for each county, along with data for Tennessee’s cities and metropolitan and micropolitan areas, is available here.
